Summing Up
Research indicated that backpackers would like to explore the countryside more, but few of them have cars & there is nowhere to stay overnight, ie no backpacker accommodation. There is plenty of upmarket B&B in the Hills but backpackers don't use B&B's. An overwhelming response was that if there was a hostel in the Hills they would certainly come. After all, one of the main things they come to experience is the Australian Bush.
