Aalborg House should one day carry a plaque to signify that it was for many years the home of the renowned artist Joy Peck, who died earlier this year. Best known for her portraits and her naive style, Pecks work is well known in Melbourne and beyond. Her 'signature' survives in some playful decorative painting on the doors and kitchen cabinets of the house in which she lived and worked for many years.
