The inviting symmetrical stone cottage was built in 1958, today renovated and updated, the original cottage area now offers one double bedroom large lounge with open fireplace a central slow combustion log fire in the kitchen family area and (also with the original Metters wood stove and oven in the fireplace) there is also plenty of cupboard area including wall mounted cupboards double sink and Simpson Nova four hotplate stove. This area is tiled throughout and the remainder living area has floating floors. The back laundry offers plenty of cupboard space and the adjoining bathroom includes shower over foot-bath, vanity, toilet and area set aside for the laundry.

Water is also pumped up to the 3000 gallon header tank for the garden and further along the highground a smaller tank has been coupled to provide head pressure water to the sprayer watering point at the sheds. Rainwater for the house is provided from a 5000 Litre collection tank and there is also a 12,000 Litre PVC tank at the sheds which can pump water up to the house tank.
