Wow ..what a great opportunity to finish off what my vendor has started?a regrettable interstate transfer. The owner had some great vision to complete this home in this prized location. City fringe at it its best and enjoy the Norwood/ City lifestyle ?
A rare opportunity to secure a character home in this prized location with the potential to add your own touches The home needs someone with vision and flare and to complete this home for the 21 century.
You are welcomed by red door and leadlight windows. Huge rooms with soaring ceilings, and beautiful stained solid timber flooring featured throughout plus there is 2KW solar panel set up as well.
Currently set up as three larger sized bedrooms, one with space for walk- in robe or ideal area for an ensuite?and great lounge?then again there endless choices to configure the rooms. Complete the extension at the back and have 3 bedrooms and large study or 4 bedrooms if required.
A good size cellar which should be saved and implemented in the next stage of the project where you can house and protect all that SA wine? The kitchen is almost original condition currently in the main home the bathroom and laundry is part of The Lean To. Although the property does need a little TLC, you can move straight in and then start working on the extension see below comments from the vendor

Some notes for the sale from the vendor
1. All four rooms have been fitted with a wiring to allow for the removal of the light fitting and the install of a light and fan. Wiring has been put into place in all four rooms to allow this.
2. Front two rooms have a USB direct charge included at the bedside GPOs
3. All four rooms and the hallway have numerous GPOs
4. All four rooms have CAT 6 x 2 cabling, one at the TV point and one in the room
5. All four rooms have TV cabling
6. All windows in the rooms have been fitted with window locks
7. The hallway has been fitted with a 16 ml conduit and draw string to allow for a heating/cooling control panel to be installed if required
8. A CAT 6 cable has been wired in the hallway to allow for the install of alarm or similar (photos and placement will be provided)
9. Moving forward: Best bet is to hire a toliet/Shower to put on site and to keep the current kitchen while the renovations are being done for the extension. Once the extension is finished (I had planned an open plan kitchen, dining room, with a small bathroom/laundry), then the kitchen can be knocked down to create a large beautiful bathroom to complete the house.
Doing it this way means owners can easily live through the extension build while having access to a usable kitchen and a portaloo with shower will take care of the bathing needs. Best to do this as the warmer months approach.
10. Electrical board removed from the house and placed outside.
11. All rooms wired to allow a wardrobe to be built around the TV to hide it away in the room.
12. Windows left for owners to select their own finish, however plantation shutters would suit the house and would be in keeping with what others have in the area
13. Best location re walking to city, park, shops, eateries etc
14. Shutter removed from room 4 and replaced with screen and mirror film for the window. Shutter has been placed in the garage in case anyone wants to put it back (yuk!). Also I have left some doors and plaster cornice and strapping's as well as the paint for the new owners.
15. Happy to share my plans for the open plan extension at the back. First draft saw a number of shipping containers configured to allow for the open plan and for an additional master retreat above. Given the bedrooms in the house have come up so beautifully, this was scaled back to open up the back by 6 metres and the full width of the house to allow for an open plan kitchen, dining room, lounge with a smaller fully contained wet area for bath, toilet and laundry.
